This 2003 Lagoon 380 is a fiberglass catamaran built on the proven design that became the industry standard for cruising and charter operation. At 38 feet with a 21.5-foot beam, the yacht delivers the stability and space that define the model. Twin Yanmar diesel engines rated at 24 horsepower drive the boat to a maximum speed of 8 knots, with a cruising speed of 6.5 knots and fuel consumption of 1.1 liters per hour. The catamaran draws 1.1 meters, allowing access to shallow anchorages.
The owners-version layout provides three cabins and five berths across the hulls. The starboard cabin features a dedicated desk and work area alongside a full shower and separate head. The saloon includes air conditioning and a rebuilt galley with three-ring stove and oven, plus refrigeration units in both the saloon and cockpit. The boat holds 200 liters of fuel in each hull, 600 liters of fresh water across two tanks, and carries a Spectra water maker for extended voyaging.
Electrical systems center on 600 amp-hours of lithium house batteries installed in 2015, supported by three solar panels, a wind generator, and a Fischer Panda 4-kilowatt genset. The boat carries Raymarine navigation electronics installed in 2016–2017, including chart plotter, autopilot, radar, VHF, and AIS transceiver. Standing rigging was replaced in 2017, and the sail inventory includes a Doyle mainsail with three reefs, asymmetric spinnaker, genoa, and storm sail.
Recent work includes new electric toilet, new exterior cushions, refurbished wooden flooring in the saloon, navigation lights, and life buoys. The boat carries comprehensive safety gear: eight-person life raft, EPIRB, 34 adult and 3 child life jackets, six flares expiring 2027, and fire extinguishers throughout. A passenger certificate for 27 persons is valid through June 2026.
