2003 Luhrs 40 Convertible

This 40-foot Luhrs convertible is powered by twin Yanmar 465 hp diesels with 1,500 hours. The solid fiberglass hull features a Corecell-cored design with a wide beam and Carolina flare, built for a stable, dry ride in varied sea conditions.

The boat holds two cabins and one head. A custom fiberglass hardtop with full enclosure provides weather protection on deck. The helm is equipped with upgraded Nautical Design seats.

Equipment includes an 8-kilowatt generator, 2,300-watt inverter, outriggers, and a full offshore spare parts kit with a spare set of propellers. Electronics were upgraded in 2018. The boat has been maintained over two decades of use on the Chesapeake Bay.
