The 2003 McKinna 65 Pilothouse is a 67.5-foot motor yacht designed by J.C. Espinosa and naval architect Howard Apollonio. Twin Caterpillar diesel engines produce 1,600 horsepower, delivering a cruising speed of 20 knots and a maximum speed of 27 knots. The fiberglass hull combines fuel-efficient design with a deep pilothouse profile that creates a commanding presence on the water. Wide side decks provide safe passage from the spacious aft deck to the forward sunning area, while the flybridge features adjustable Stidd helm seats and ample guest seating. A bridge-mounted stainless steel hydraulic davit tends the tender.
The interior maximizes the 17.25-foot beam with accommodations centered on a light-filled, open layout. The owner's suite features twin burl wood pillars framing the bed, a walk-in closet, and an ensuite head with bathtub and marble countertops with his and hers sinks. Additional staterooms each include private heads, and the yacht includes three heads in total. A galley forward serves a generous dining area that flows into the pilothouse, where double Stidd helm seats support dual-operator cruising.
The cockpit includes a wet bar and barbecue grill, opening onto the aft deck for entertaining and dining. An interior 42-inch plasma television rises from a starboard cabinet lift, surrounded by soft leather seating and handcrafted woodwork. The pilothouse houses SIMRAD electronics with touch screen displays, FLIR infrared night vision, auto pilot, and carbon fiber helm panels. Audio-visual enhancements and top-tier onboard systems complement the yacht's advanced construction and systems integration.
