2003 Menorquin Yacht 160

The 2003 Menorquin Yacht 160 is a 52-foot fiberglass trawler built on a hull form recognized for seaworthiness and solid construction. Twin 375-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines deliver a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots. The engines show only 360 original hours. The yacht accommodates four cabins—three standard cabins plus crew quarters—with two heads, each fitted with electric toilets. A separate galley is fully equipped; the main saloon includes dining, and a generous flybridge overlooks the water.

Between 2024 and 2025, the yacht underwent substantial refitting. The air-conditioning system was installed and overhauled with new through-hull fittings; the heads received new fixtures and updated plumbing; a sea-water pump and autoclave were installed; an electric dehumidifier was added. Navigation electronics were upgraded with a new Raymarine autopilot and VHF radio. The engine compartment received full service and maintenance in April 2025. Exterior work included installation of a new Besenzoni hydraulic passerelle, complete stern platform and teak step renewal, anchor winch service, and hull treatment with antifouling applied in June 2025. All interior soft furnishings were replaced.

The boat's tankage supports extended cruising, with 2,000 litres of fuel and 800 litres of fresh water. The design prioritizes comfort and livability underway and at anchor. Recent refits and updates mean no immediate work is needed.
