2003 Meridian 408 Motoryacht

The 2003 Meridian 408 is a 42-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by dual Cummins diesel engines producing 740 horsepower combined. The design balances generous interior volume with practical performance on the water. The hull form tracks straight and responds smoothly to the hydraulic steering, with adequate power for coastal cruising at around 22 knots.

The layout centers on a full-beam saloon with 6'8" of headroom and large two-tiered windows on both sides, creating a light, open feel. The galley features Karadon countertops, three-burner stovetop, convection oven, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer, plus 8'5" of headroom—generous for a 40-foot boat. An optional washer/dryer fits neatly under gas-assisted steps. Forward is a two-stateroom, two-head configuration: a forepeak with centerline queen berth and three drawers of stowage beneath, plus two closets and access to a day head. The aft master stateroom sits several steps down with 6'5" of headroom, separate head and shower compartments, two closets, and abundant storage throughout.

The bridge features a centerline helm with uncluttered console and seating to either side, both with beneath-seat stowage. An aft L-shaped lounge provides additional seating. The swim platform and aft deck include a wet bar with Corian countertop, hardtop shade with stainless steel grab handles, and dunnage-box seating. Standard equipment includes a Sony 24-inch TV in the saloon, separate shower and head compartments in the master suite, 4/2000-gph Rule bilge pumps, battery paralleling system, and 11-gallon water heater. The bottom has been recently painted and serviced.
