2003 Ranger 521VX 35th Anniversary
About This Yacht
The 2003 Ranger 521VX is a 21-foot bass boat built on one of the most respected tournament hulls ever produced. Twin Mercury 250 Pro XS four-stroke engines deliver 67 mph performance, with the newer engine installed in 2024 and running only 83 hours. The boat includes a matching Ranger Trail tandem-axle trailer with new tires.
The console features dual Humminbird Helix electronics: a 15-inch Mega SI at the helm and a 9-inch Mega SI at the bow, both with side imaging, down imaging, and CHIRP sonar. A Minn Kota Ultrex 112-pound 36-volt trolling motor was installed in 2025. Recent additions include Monster Marine lithium batteries for both trolling and cranking, Crappie Brakes, a Bob's Machine Shop jack plate, and a TH Marine Hot Foot, all completed in early 2025. The boat comes with an original Ranger travel cover and original seats.
The hull shows the expected wear from 23 years of active fishing use, including some marks from timber exposure. There are no leaks, structural damage, or mechanical issues. The boat is ready to fish and would benefit from detailing to restore the finish.
