The 2003 Regal Commodore 2860 is a 29-foot fiberglass cruiser built with a FasTrac hull designed for a smooth, efficient ride in varying water conditions. Twin Volvo Penta 4.3L gasoline engines with stainless steel props deliver 450 horsepower, capable of 45 knots at top speed and 30 knots cruising. The dual counter-rotating props aid quick plane-off during busy weekends. The cockpit layout features U-shaped aft seating, a double-wide helm seat with pop-up leaning bolster, and molded-in steps leading to a walk-through window for easy access forward to the sunpad and deck.
The single cabin accommodates five people and includes a forward double berth and mid-cabin double berth, both with privacy curtains. The generous main saloon offers a large dinette with cushions that have never been used, plus full galley equipped with an electric stove, microwave, stainless steel sink, refrigerator/freezer, and Corian countertops. Cherry cabinetry throughout provides substantial storage. An enclosed head serves the cabin, featuring a manual flush toilet, shower, and sink.
The electronics suite includes a color GPS/Map-NAVMAN 6x4, VHF radio with antenna, and depth gauge mounted on a custom burl wood dash. Electrical systems include dual batteries with switch, 110V shorepower with cord, battery charger, automatic bilge pump, and CO detectors. Deck amenities include a forward sunpad, anchor roller with rope locker access, new SeaDek, and a cockpit shower.
In 2022 the owner installed new SeaDek, a new cockpit cover, and replaced all isinglass in the camper top. Bottom paint with VC17 was applied in 2024. The boat has been freshly detailed and waxed, with yearly maintenance and service performed at haul-out.
