2003 Scout 280 Abaco

This 2003 Scout 280 Abaco is a 28-foot composite sportfish built for offshore work and family cruising. The boat features a raised pilot station with helm seating for four, including two captain's chairs that convert to leaning posts. The cockpit is spacious and designed for fishing or entertaining, with an enormous fighting deck, 35-gallon livewell, and large fishboxes. Below, there is a V-berth, galley, and enclosed head.

The boat was repowered in May 2025 with twin Suzuki 200 HP four-stroke outboards, which have approximately 60 hours of running time. The Scout-Strata-Mount engine mounting system provides structural strength. The hull shows no soft spots and is known for a smooth, stable ride.

Recent upgrades include replacement through-hulls, new macerator and bilge pumps, and a complete reupholstering of all interior upholstery in 2026. Navigation and fish-finding equipment includes a Garmin GPS and fish finder, plus a BoatEye 360-degree night vision camera system. A trailer is included.
