2003 Sea Ray 420 Sundancer

This 42-foot Sea Ray 420 Sundancer is a diesel-powered express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull. Twin Cummins 6CTA engines produce 417 horsepower each, delivering cruising speeds in the mid to high 20s with a range exceeding 300 miles.

The accommodations include a double stateroom with berths for four, two heads with separate shower, a spacious salon with cherry-finished cabinetry, and an adjoining galley. The cockpit seats eight and features a built-in wet bar and extended swim platform. Navigation and comfort systems include windlass, generator, air conditioning, radar, GPS plotter, and autopilot.

Recent work has been extensive. Both ZF gearboxes were replaced in December 2024 with factory warranties. Other recent replacements and upgrades include sanitary lines and plumbing throughout, both refrigerators, all batteries, both vacuflush toilets, microwave, hatch cover lift cylinders, cockpit speakers, and various electrical components. Electrical connections in the fuse block, instrument panel, and control systems were cleaned and treated with dielectric in 2022.
