2003 Sea Ray 480 Motor Yacht

The 2003 Sea Ray 480 is a 48-foot fiberglass motor yacht built around twin Cummins diesel engines producing 1,270 horsepower combined. The engines have logged under 1,500 hours, and the boat was kept in fresh water until 2024. A Westerbeke 12.5 kw diesel generator with under 1,000 hours provides shore power when anchored or docked.

The layout centers on three staterooms and two heads. The forward cabin has a full-size berth with innerspring mattress, storage lockers, and private access to the forward head. The guest cabin features twin berths that convert to a king with filler cushions. The aft master holds a queen bed, cedar-lined hanging locker, and ensuite head with shower. The galley includes a three-burner stove, convection oven, coffeemaker, refrigerator with freezer, and washer/dryer combo. Entertainment electronics include a 20-inch TV and VCR in the master, a 13-inch TV in the forward cabin, and a Clarion AM/FM stereo with six-disc changer throughout.

On deck, the aft area has a wetbar with icemaker and a large swim platform reached via concealed stainless steel steps. A fiberglass hardtop shelters the upper deck, and wide textured walkways lead forward to a cushioned sunpad. The helm benefits from a bow thruster, upgraded Garmin electronics, and cockpit air conditioning. Recent work includes a new cockpit enclosure and new carpeting with Sunbrella runners. Cutlass bearings were replaced, bow thruster batteries are new, and soft goods and canvas have been upgraded throughout. Rule bilge pumps, three Fireboy CO2 detectors, and extensive storage round out the systems. A dinghy is included.
