This 38-foot Downeast-style cruiser was designed by Carroll Lowell and built by Snug Harbor Yachts using cold-molded construction—two layers of Western red cedar over Douglas fir tongue-and-groove planking. The composite hull is finished with mahogany joinery throughout, creating an open and spacious interior enhanced by the boat's generous 13-foot beam. The cabin trunk features a classic butterfly hatch, and the side decks are wide and uncluttered.
A single 450-horsepower turbocharged Cummins diesel engine powers the boat, delivering a cruising speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 16 knots. She is equipped with an electric bow thruster and a large Downeast rudder, making her responsive and easy to handle in tight spaces. The 6.5kW Onan generator, which has only 155 hours of service, supplies ample power while at anchor.
