2003 Solaris 36 OD

This 2003 Solaris 36 OD is a performance-oriented sailing yacht built for competitive racing and fast cruising. The boat features a high-specification carbon rig including a modular Pauger mast and boom, retractable carbon bowsprit, carbon pole, and rigging throughout in Dyneema. The deck hardware comprises four Harken winches and a carbon wheel steering system. Maximum recorded speed reaches 25 knots.

The sail inventory is extensive and recent. For racing: a 2023 North carbon mainsail, a 2024 North carbon J1 with 10 races, a 2024 Doyle carbon J2 with 10 races, and a 2023 J3 in Mylar/Kevlar. The spinnaker wardrobe includes a 2024 Doyle A2 with approximately 15 outings, a near-new A4 used once, a symmetric spinnaker, and a 2023 Code Zero of 110 square metres used five times. Cruising sails comprise a North 3DI mainsail, a North 3DI furling genoa, a J1 genoa, and a 2023 Italian dacron mainsail in excellent condition.

Below deck, the boat has two cabins, a saloon with removable table, galley with sink and refrigerator, and one head. The Lombardini LD W1003 diesel engine produces 30 horsepower with 1,570 hours on the meter, mounted in saildrive configuration for reliable harbour manoeuvring and cruising capability. Electronics include Raymarine GPS and ST7000 autopilot, log, depth sounder, wind instruments with interior repeaters, and fixed VHF with handheld backup.
