The Vicem 51 Classic is a composite downeast yacht built with cold-molded opposing layers of mahogany and epoxy, delivering a strong, stiff hull and superstructure. Twin MAN diesel engines produce 1,220 horsepower, enabling a cruising speed of 27 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots. The hull is finished in Majestic Blue Awlgrip with a white boot stripe, while the house wears Cream Awlgrip. Teak decking runs across the foredeck, side decks, and cockpit, complementing the mahogany and stainless detailing throughout.
The aft cockpit features a teak sole and includes L-shaped settees with navy cushions and white piping, creating comfortable outdoor dining space. A mahogany storage cabinet with a serving counter houses a sink, electric grill, and icemaker. Forward of this, the salon offers 360-degree views through large outboard windows flanking port and starboard settees with ivory cushions and navy piping. The helm sits to starboard with an opening window, while twin overhead hatches provide natural light and ventilation. Below the settees and end tables are storage drawers; a TV is mounted on the port end table.
The galley sits down three stairs to starboard and is fitted with mahogany cabinets, Corian countertops, a stainless sink, two-burner electric cooktop, refrigerator, and stainless microwave. The guest stateroom to port has twin berths convertible to a double, overhead cabinets, a hanging locker, drawers, and opening stainless steel ports with screens. The guest head forward features a Corian countertop, Tecma head, and separate shower. The master stateroom forward includes a centerline berth, mahogany cabinets outboard, an opening hatch, stainless ports, a dressing table with mirrored cabinet, and a private head.
Navigation and control systems include a Garmin GPSMap 3210 plotter/radar, Raymarine autopilot, Raymarine speed and depth, Ritchie magnetic compass, and Simrad RS8400 VHF. Power comes from dual 12-volt systems, 50-amp 240-volt dockside power, and a 9.5-kilowatt Onan generator with soundshield (933 hours). Additional equipment includes a 1,500-watt Lofrans windlass, hydraulic power steering, Sidepower bow and stern thrusters, and saltwater deck washdown.
