2003 Viking 48 Convertible

This 2003 Viking 48 Convertible is a twin-diesel convertible built on a solid fiberglass hull. She is powered by two MAN 1050 engines with only 650 hours of operation, capable of cruising at 23 knots with a top speed of 36 knots. The boat has been extensively maintained and updated over recent years, including a full 1000-hour MAN service, new fuel injectors, fresh propellers, and a complete bottom hull repaint. A bow thruster was added in 2024.

The accommodation plan consists of two staterooms and two heads. The master stateroom forward features a queen island berth with private ensuite, high-gloss teak cabinetry, and an overhead hatch. The VIP stateroom offers oversized upper and lower bunks with separate entry to the day head. Both staterooms include air conditioning and heating. The salon flows into a galley equipped with Sub-Zero refrigeration and freezer drawers, a three-burner cooktop, and Corian countertops throughout.

Electronics and navigation are comprehensively updated with a full Garmin package including three 8616 XSV chart plotters, 256XHD2 radar, side-scan transducers, dual VHF radios with AIS, and a FLIR night vision camera. Flybridge systems include a 56k radar, twin Garmin 8616 displays, and new Fusion stereo with JL audio amplification and multiple speakers. The flybridge also features an EZ2CY Bimini and custom helm displays.

Below deck, the engine room shows recent attention with new injectors, replaced air handlers for the 24k BTU salon air conditioning, and two Garmin camera systems. The salon features teak and holly Amtico flooring, L-shaped sofa with storage, and custom teak and Corian tables. A Starlink satellite internet system and 50-inch Samsung Frame TV were added in 2025. New batteries, propellers, and various interior furnishings including custom bedding, carpet, and window treatments have been installed since 2021.
