2003 Viking 61 Convertible

This 2003 Viking 61 Convertible is a 63.5-foot sportfish yacht built on a modified vee fiberglass hull. Powered by four MTU diesel engines producing 2,960 horsepower combined, the boat reaches a maximum speed of 34 knots and cruises at 18 knots. The design prioritizes both fishing capability and comfortable cruising, with a layout built around serious tournament angling.

The interior offers three cabins and three heads, each cabin with independent climate control and audiovisual systems. The salon and galley are generous in size, suitable for entertaining and extended time aboard. Below deck accommodates sleeping guests while the cockpit area emphasizes fishing operations, including kill lockers, ice chippers, and deep freezers for storing the catch.

Topside, a 40-foot tuna tower provides elevated sight lines for spotting fish. The cockpit is finished in teak, and custom stainless steel railings run along the side decks to the bow. A lifting davit system handles a large RIB tender and PWC. A Seakeeper 18 gyroscopic stabilizer system is installed to manage motion in rough water. The bow has been custom modified to fit specific slip dimensions while retaining the anchor and electric windlass.
