2003 West Bay 68

This 68-foot West Bay motor yacht combines spacious North American construction with the volume and comfort typically found in much larger vessels. The 20.5-foot beam opens up generous interior space, while wide side decks and a large aft deck provide ample entertaining areas for a crowd.

The main living areas flow exceptionally well: the open galley connects seamlessly to the large settee and pilothouse, with unusually high ceilings creating an airy atmosphere. Full-size SubZero refrigeration and residential-quality appliances anchor the galley. The master stateroom spans the full beam with a king bed, abundant natural light from port and starboard portlights, a walk-in closet to starboard, and hanging lockers to port. A fourth cabin aft includes an ensuite head. The pilothouse offers clear sightlines and comprehensive electronics display.

Twin Man Common Rail diesel engines, installed in 2011, show 1,350 hours of operation since new. Twin generators carry 2,350 original hours, backed by a 4,000-kilowatt inverter and battery bank that were replaced in 2023. The yacht cruises at 18 knots and reaches 23 knots at maximum speed.

Recent improvements include new headliner, wallpaper throughout, Garmin radar and flybridge display with AIS integration, a new davit, and a new tender mounted in early 2024. An aft work area on the starboard side includes tool chests, vise, and built-in benches. Batteries were renewed in 2023.
