The Adria Event 34 is a 2004 fiberglass sailing yacht built for ocean cruising. She carries a 9/10th fractional sloop rig with a Selden mast and boom, controlled entirely from the cockpit. The boat is equipped with a new 28 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine installed in 2023 with 97 hours of runtime as of October 2025, paired with a three-blade folding propeller and rope cutter. A Lewmar 140TT bowthruster with dedicated power pack provides additional maneuvering capability. The teak cockpit features a split backstay with bridle and Lewmar Cobra steering system.
The interior accommodates four plus two berths across two double cabins and the saloon. A spacious heads compartment includes a shower with electric pump-out drain. The galley is fitted with a two-burner gas cooker and oven, double stainless steel sink, and a 12-volt top-loading refrigerator. Hot and cold pressure water is supplied by a Quick Nautic boiler with calorifier. A Webasto Airtop heating system provides warmth below deck.
Sails include a 2016 fully-battened Elvstrom mainsail and furling Genoa, both in radial laminate, along with a 2016 parasail with tacker that has been hardly used. The rigging package comprises two Lewmar ST40 primary winches and two ST30 winches on the coachroof, with a Furlex 200S genoa furler and Selden Rodkick boom vang.
Navigation and autopilot systems include a Lawrence HDS10M plotter, B&G Triton T41 autopilot, Simrad displays with AIS, and dual VHF radios. Battery power comes from a 70 Ah starter battery, three 100 Ah service batteries installed in 2023, and a 95 Ah bowthruster battery, all managed by a Victron Smart Battery Monitor and charger upgraded in 2025. A Rutland wind generator and Marlec solar panel provide auxiliary charging. Safety equipment includes a four-person liferaft, EBIRP, fire extinguishers, and updated guard wires and lifelines from 2021.
The deck inventory includes a Quick Aries Flair Rider electric windlass with dual remotes, Mantus anchoring system with chain and warp, a 2.3-meter Crewsaver tender, 3.5 hp Tohatsu outboard, and a full cockpit tent with removable panels and sunscreen panels all new in 2021. A semi-rigid sprayhood with new windows rounds out the tender system. The holding tank was replaced in 2025 with a no-smell filter and electric macerator pump. Professional osmosis prevention treatment was completed in 2018–19, with Coppercoat antifouling applied in 2019 and refreshed in October 2019.
