The Beneteau 57 is a full-displacement cruising sailboat built in 2003 and registered in 2004. This 57-foot sloop features a fixed keel and a cherry wood interior arranged across four cabins, including a generous owner's suite aft. The hull was completely repainted in 2024 with Awlgrip, and the deck and capping rail were replaced with synthetic teak in 2024 and 2025 respectively, reducing long-term maintenance while modernizing the appearance.
The yacht is equipped for extended ocean cruising. Power comes from a Yanmar 4LHA-HTP diesel engine rated at 160 hp, which has approximately 5,300 hours and has undergone recent injection system service and compression testing. The sailing plan includes a Leisure Furl mainsail, Facnor roller-furling headsails, and self-tacking jib, all supported by standing rigging that was fully inspected via ultrasonic testing in 2024 with necessary components replaced. New Sparcraft spreaders and drizas were fitted in late 2024 and early 2025. Lewmar electric and manual winches provide deck control, and new cockpit and bimini covers were installed in 2025.
Below deck, the cherry interior includes a quartz composite galley with a newly fitted Oceanchef stove, induction cooktop, grill microwave, ice maker, and substantial refrigeration and freezer capacity. Four heads service the accommodations. Navigation and electronic systems are current, featuring Raymarine Axiom Pro, Quantum 2 radar, and autopilot, complemented by SSB, VHF with dual stations, AIS, and Navtex. Electrical infrastructure includes a 9.5 kW Onan generator, 750-amp gel service battery bank, 3 kW Victron inverter, desalination plant, and full LED lighting. A 340-liter Mercury inflatable tender with 20 hp Yamaha outboard and electric davits provide auxiliary support, along with a 10-person life raft and comprehensive safety equipment.
