The 2004 Boston Whaler 270 Outrage is a 27-foot center console sportfisher built on a deep-V hull with a refined Accutrack system. Twin 2016 Mercury 250 Optimax DFI 2-stroke engines power the boat, with 237 hours on the engines. The hull features strategically positioned reverse chines and running strakes for lift, tracking, and spray deflection. Steering is hydraulic, and the boat is equipped with trim tabs and stainless steel props.
The 270 Outrage is engineered for fishing, with three in-deck insulated fishboxes, a 23-gallon transom livewell with raw-water fill, and a 334-quart bow storage compartment with drain and pump-out capability. Rod storage spans ten racks and eleven rod holders throughout the boat. The leaning post includes a bait prep station with cutting board, rigging storage, and knife holder. A 94-quart cooler secures beneath the leaning post.
Seating comprises two removable bow bench cushions, the leaning post with removable backrest and folding footrest, a molded console seat, and a stern bench that folds into the transom. The locked console houses an enclosed portable head with sink and pump-out. A freshwater shower and raw water washdown are installed.
Navigation and communication equipment includes a Raymarine 12-inch GPS/chartplotter with fishfinder and radar, and an Uniden VHF radio. The boat carries a T-top, telephone booth style weather curtain, windlass, and new stereo system with speakers. Recent updates include new cushions, console and seat covers, and a fresh bottom paint. Safety gear is aboard.
