2004 Cabo 40 Express

This 2004 Cabo 40 Express is a diesel-powered sportfish built on a fiberglass hull. Twin Caterpillar C12 engines deliver 1400 horsepower, and the boat is equipped with trim tabs for improved handling and comfort.

The accommodations include a single cabin and one head, with an open salon layout typical of the Express design. The helm benefits from a reglassed console housing a complete Garmin electronics package for navigation and fish finding.

The boat has undergone substantial upgrades across multiple years. A full exterior paint job in 2022 included the aluminum windshield frames, and new hoses were installed on both main engines and the generator. A new four-sided curtain enclosure and cockpit sun shade were added, along with a forward deck hatch and fresh sanitation hoses. Recent additions include a Sionyx night vision camera, new salon television, a Phasor 15-kilowatt generator with minimal hours, Starlink connectivity, a replacement holding tank, and a 1000-hour engine service performed by Elite Diesel. The hard top, tower standing platform, and engine room were repainted, and the bottom was painted in November 2024. Props were professionally tuned as part of the maintenance regimen.
