2004 Catalina 350

The 2004 Catalina 350 is a 35-foot cruising sailboat built on a fiberglass hull with a 9-foot beam and shallow draft. Powered by a Universal diesel engine rated at 35 horsepower with approximately 2,300 hours of operation, the boat achieves a cruising speed of 6.4 knots and a maximum speed of 7.8 knots. The design prioritizes both seaworthiness and comfort, with a spacious cockpit and well-appointed interior.

The boat is equipped for extended cruising independence through substantial power generation and storage systems. Solar panels with a Blue Sky Solar Boost controller, a wind generator, and a Heart inverter-charger rated at 2,500 watts supply energy to a 450-amp AGM house battery bank and separate start battery, monitored by a Link 2000 system. Fresh water comes from a 12-volt watermaker, and a compact 2-gallon electric water heater provides hot water without running the engine. A portable Honda generator is included as backup. Navigation and safety systems include an autopilot, chart plotter, AIS transceiver, electric windlass, and furling sails with a custom roller-furling jib.

Below deck, the accommodation includes five cabin fans, premium innerspring mattresses, and upgraded upholstery throughout. The galley features an oven with baking stone, and the refrigerator-freezer system was recently replaced with additional insulation and a dedicated freezer section holding 35°F. Deck features encompass a teak cockpit table, full dodger and bimini with custom side curtains, dinghy davits, and an engine hoist. Ground tackle consists of a Rocna anchor with 125 feet of chain and additional rode.

The boat comes with an extensive spare parts package valued at over $15,000, including a heat exchanger, alternator, engine instrument panel, autopilot drive unit, raw-water pump, halyards, extra cockpit cushions, and a forward hatch.
