The 2004 Catalina 350 is a 35-foot fiberglass sloop designed for cruising and coastal sailing. Powered by a 35-horsepower Universal diesel engine, she cruises at 6 knots and reaches 7.4 knots at full throttle. The boat features a shallow-draft winged keel, a MaxProp feathering propeller, and a full suite of navigational electronics including Raymarine instruments, AIS, digital radar, autopilot, and Navionics chartplotting. Additional systems include a 360-watt solar array with charger, a recently installed bilge pump and float switch, and a deck wash with 25 feet of hose.
The accommodations include two cabins and one head. The layout offers a dinette that converts to a double berth, along with original cockpit cushions and a removable fiberglass table with teak leaves. A full cockpit enclosure with isinglass and screens was added in 2018, and the boat carries four additional sunbrella cockpit pillows.
The sail inventory consists of a full-batten mainsail and captain's navy sunbrella cover from 2016, a 135-percent jib from 2015, and a 175-percent cruising spinnaker from 2008 with an ATN sock and spinnaker lines. Ground tackle includes 125 feet of 5/8-inch chain and a 44-pound Rockna anchor with snubber and clip. Dinghy davits with Garhauer 6-to-1 tackle are installed. The boat comes with a custom winter cover and a custom steel cradle, and includes a VHF radio with cockpit microphone and a JVC stereo system with four speakers.
