2004 Chaparral Signature 290

This 2004 Chaparral Signature 290 is a 31-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Mercruiser gasoline engines producing 520 horsepower combined. The boat features three sleeping areas—forward, salon, and aft—along with a generator, air conditioning, and windlass. Additional amenities include solid surface countertops, a cedar-lined clothes closet, vented aft cabin windows, and dual wide flip-up bolster seats at the helm with tilt steering.

Maintenance has been consistent and thorough. The starboard engine was professionally replaced in 2022 and has less than 100 hours of running time. Recent work completed in spring 2024 included replacement shift cable and bellows, full exhaust system service on both engines with new flappers, sleeves, and components, cooling system updates, trim tab service, and drive trim work. The boat has been serviced every spring and fall by Hagadone Marine since 2020 and wintered indoors.

The cabin is well appointed with a generator, air conditioning, and a camping enclosure in addition to the mooring cover. A triple-axle aluminum trailer, new in 2020, is also available.
