The Colombo Romance 32 is a 32-foot fiberglass runabout built in 2004, one of only 33 examples created by designer Giacomo Colombo. Twin Volvo Penta D3 diesel engines, each producing 220 hp, drive the boat through dual Z-drives that provide 360-degree steering and agility. The hull is finished with a mahogany veneer overlay and features a reinforced fiberglass core, topped by a polished plexiglass windscreen with integrated chrome grab rail. The boat's design draws inspiration from Carlo Riva's classic Italian performance runabouts.
The single cabin accommodates overnight use, with one head and electric yacht toilet. Below deck, the boat carries a 500-litre diesel tank and 150-litre freshwater tank. A reversible 80-litre waste tank supports self-contained operation. The 12-volt refrigerator runs on ship's batteries, and 230-volt shore power is available when connected. Navigation equipment includes two handheld GPS units and an iPad station, supported by VHF radio, depth sounder, compass, and barometer.
Safety systems include dual Rule 2000 bilge pumps with a manual JABSCO pump backup, CO₂ fire suppression in the engine compartment, and a 20-kilogram electric CQR anchor with backup ground tackle. The deep cockpit coaming serves as integrated railings. The boat carries a life raft, life jackets, and a paddleboard.
A comprehensive refit was completed in 2022. The boat has been privately maintained and is ready for cruising on lakes or coastal waters.
