2004 Com-Pac Horizon Cat

This 2004 Com-Pac Horizon Cat is a gaff-rigged Cape Cod-style catboat built for stable, comfortable cruising. At 20 feet with a hinged mast system, she's designed for easy single-handed operation—the "Mastendr" allows one person to raise and lower the mast for launching and recovery. Her centerboard draws 5 feet down and 2 feet up, making her well-suited to shallow waters.

The boat is powered by a reliable 7 hp Yanmar 1GM10 inboard diesel engine, recently tested and in good working order. Wheel steering provides a roomy cockpit for a boat of her size, and an autopilot is fitted for single-handed sailing. The cabin layout is efficient and accommodating despite the compact footprint, with overnight anchoring capability. The centerboard was cleaned and painted over the last winter.

Equipment includes a Garmin GPS, VHS marine radio, CPT autopilot system, depth finder, automatic bilge pump, Bruce anchor, and camping-style stove and head. The rig carries two mainsails; one was serviced last year by Bacon Sails. The boat is sold with her trailer and is ready to sail this season.
