2004 Contender Open 21 Center Console

This 2004 Contender Open 21 is a fiberglass center console powered by a single 225-horsepower Yamaha four-stroke engine with 385 hours. The boat reaches speeds up to 45 mph and cruises comfortably at 25 mph. At 21 feet in length with an 8-foot beam and 18-inch draft, it performs well in both offshore and freshwater environments.

The boat is extensively equipped for fishing. It carries 23 rod holders across the console, T-top, and leaning post, with 11 available for active fishing. Factory upgrades include a deluxe T-top with 15-foot RUPP outrigger bases, forward spreader lights, livewell with 1100-gph capacity, and Lenco trim tabs. Additional electronics comprise a Raymarine C-80 eight-inch chartplotter, Standard Horizon Quest radio, FlowScan fuel gauge, and compass. Fuel capacity totals 110 gallons. The cockpit features coaming pads, pop-up cleats, pop-up bow lights, and a folding backrest on the leaning post.

Maintenance records document annual oil and gear lube changes, yearly waxing, and proper seasonal storage with winterization and fogging. The engine was flushed after freshwater use and treated with Salt Away following saltwater outings. All pumps have been recently replaced. A complete mechanical inspection found no issues.

The sale includes a custom-built DHM trailer with new tires, spare tire, and new Kodiak disc brakes. Bunk boards on the trailer have been replaced with composite lumber to eliminate corrosion concerns. Additional items included are three extra fuel filters, trailer bearings, lights, and a boat cover.
