2004 Dufour 34 Performance

The 2004 Dufour 34 Performance is a 34-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for responsive handling and speed. Powered by a single 19-horsepower Volvo diesel engine, the boat combines the efficiency of a compact powerplant with a hull designed to reward active sailing. The beam of just over 11 feet supports a design that balances stability with performance-oriented sailing characteristics.

This boat was maintained exclusively in fresh water, which has kept corrosion at bay. In August 2017, the bottom received a complete refit: the hull was soda-blasted and treated with five coats of Interprotect primer followed by two coats of Micron CSC antifouling paint. This system performs equally well in fresh or salt water, extending the boat's versatility for future cruising.

The 34 Performance is known for its responsive sailing qualities and abundant natural light belowdecks, making it an engaging platform whether daysailing or on longer passages.
