The 2004 Grady-White Marlin 300 is a 30-foot offshore sportfish with a solid fiberglass hull and proven seakeeping design. Twin Yamaha 225 four-stroke engines with 890 hours power the boat, both running strong and regularly serviced. The open layout combines fishing capability with cruising comfort, featuring a large cockpit, walkaround side decks with secure handholds, and a factory hardtop with full enclosure over the helm and electronics station.
Below deck, the cabin sleeps two comfortably with a vee berth surrounded by teak storage. The galley includes a refrigerator, microwave, and removable Corian cutting board over expanded cooking space. A teak dining table stows away to maximize cabin room. The enclosed head features a shower with adequate headroom. On deck, the rigging station starboard includes a freshwater sink, insulated bait box, and tackle storage. The transom centers on a 290-quart insulated fish box with cutting board and freshwater shower, with a removable storage box to port.
Recent work includes new engine ram seals, Sea Star hydraulic unit, aft hatches, exhaust systems, and bottom paint. Garmin electronics with GPS, radar, and fishfinder were installed in 2023, along with autopilot. Additional equipment includes outriggers, windlass anchor, livewell, generator, shore power, and air conditioning. LED lighting has been updated throughout. The cabin sole, teak details, and isinglass window remain in serviceable condition.
