The 2004 Grady-White Sailfish 282 is a 28-foot sportfish built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Suzuki outboards. The engines were replaced in 2018 with 200-horsepower four-stroke units and have logged only 500 hours. The boat measures 9.5 feet across the beam.
The cabin layout includes two staterooms and one head. The helm features new upholstery and is outfitted with a complete Garmin electronics package installed in 2023, including dual multifunction color displays, open array radar, and networked systems. Audio is handled by a Fusion system. Rigging includes stainless steel Gem Lux outriggers with canopy.
Recent maintenance and upgrades span multiple systems: the bottom was painted in 2023 and is cleaned monthly, underwater lights were installed in 2023, new batteries and charger were fitted in 2024, and the macerator motor was replaced in 2024. The hull received detailing, compounding, polishing, and waxing in August 2025. A BRNKL security monitoring system was added, and the boat is serviced regularly by an authorized Suzuki service center.
