2004 Hewes Redfisher 18

The 2004 Hewes Redfisher 18 is a stable, versatile flats boat with the wider beam and walkable gunnels that make it equally suited to fishing the shallows, bait fishing with family, running shorelines, or making longer inshore runs. The layout centers on large casting decks, a self-bailing cockpit, and generous storage throughout—forward anchor locker and storage compartments with finished hatch liners, console storage, aft bench seating with storage, and a main livewell paired with a plumbed release well aft. Rod storage includes under-gunnel tubes and vertical holders, while an aft poling platform with its own rod holders completes the fishing setup.

Power comes from a 2014 Yamaha F150 four-stroke with approximately 300 actual hours and regular service history. The engine has cosmetic paint wear on the rear cowling from prior rope contact. Electronics include a Simrad GO9 XSE with Florida Marine Tracks, backed by 2025 AGM batteries and a Guest 3-bank onboard charger. Fishing upgrades include a 2023 Minn Kota Riptide Terrova i-Pilot with 80 lb thrust on a 60" shaft, an 8' Power-Pole XL, and newer upholstery approximately two years old. The poling platform was recently re-powder coated.

The boat has been owned since 2015 and stored garage-kept or under a custom full cover throughout its life, showing clear signs of deliberate care. Decks, cockpit, hatches, and hull present well for the year; the broker found no soft spots during inspection. As a 2004, the boat shows normal cosmetic age including minor gelcoat chips and spider cracks, localized rub rail wear, and normal staining in storage areas. The anchor light is inoperative; trailer marker lights may need attention. The boat comes with a 2014 AmeraTrail custom aluminum trailer fitted for the Redfisher, featuring a newer axle and 2024-date-stamped tires and wheels, along with a spare tire and the custom full cover.
