2004 Hunter 386

The Hunter 386 is a 38-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a single 40-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. The design emphasizes natural light and ventilation through an expansive windshield, fixed and screened ports, and multiple overhead hatches. The cockpit is laid out for comfort and function, with seating for eight and a custom console featuring a folding table.

Below deck, the salon combines a convertible dinette and facing settee with an integrated navigation station and abundant storage. The full galley features a Corian-covered counter, double basin stainless sink, and side-by-side ice boxes. Forward is a private stateroom with en suite vanity and ample hanging storage. The aft master cabin offers a queen berth and additional storage, while the head—accessible from both cabins—includes a Corian vanity, electric marine toilet, and shower enclosed in a complete fiberglass shell.

Recent upgrades include new systems installed through 2024: a Raymarine hydraulic autopilot, electric toilet, depth gauge, hot water tank, dual AGM service batteries (200 amps each), and a new pump and macerator for the black water tank. Additional equipment added in 2023 includes a Hypalon dinghy with aluminum bottom, six-person life raft, Honda 2200-watt generator, portable VHF radio, and a used Rainman portable watermaker producing 13.18 gallons per hour.
