The Hylas 54 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built for serious offshore cruising. Wide side decks and oversized transom steps allow safe movement along the entire length of the boat and easy water access. The protected center cockpit is deep and secure, designed for comfort during extended passages and as a social gathering space at anchor. The sail plan and deck layout are configured for confident handling in varied conditions.
Below deck, the yacht accommodates three cabins and two heads, arranged to support extended cruising and liveaboard use. A single Yanmar diesel engine of 125 horsepower provides auxiliary power and reliable propulsion when needed.
This particular example has been outfitted for world cruising with comprehensive equipment throughout. The electrical system includes lithium iron phosphate batteries and 60 watts of solar generation, enabling self-sufficient operation away from shore infrastructure.
