2004 Krogen North Sea

This 2004 Krogen North Sea is a 48-foot fiberglass trawler built in the widebody configuration, one of the few three-cabin examples of this model. The hull has received recent compounding, polishing, waxing, and new bottom paint.

The boat carries a single 225-horsepower John Deere diesel engine, cruising at 8 knots with a maximum speed of 10 knots. It is equipped with hydraulic fin stabilizers for comfort in a seaway, bow and stern thrusters for close-quarters maneuvering, and two heads. The design reflects serious passagemaking intentions—the fine entry and raised transom are shaped for an easy motion offshore, and the boat has the range and seakeeping characteristics expected of a true bluewater cruiser.
