Herkee is a 2004 Lagoon 380 catamaran, a fiberglass-hulled design measuring 38 feet in length with a 21-foot beam. The boat has been substantially modified from its original sailing configuration. The owners repowered the yacht with new Yanmar 40hp engines and updated sail drives, and removed the mast to create a dedicated power catamaran setup. A major solar and lithium power system was installed to support extended cruising with minimal shore dependence.
The catamaran offers four cabins and six heads, providing comfortable accommodation for cruising. The layout typical of the Lagoon 380 separates the living spaces across both hulls, allowing for distinct cabin areas and multiple head facilities distributed throughout the boat.
The modifications undertaken since 2020 position this catamaran as a self-sufficient cruising platform. The new propulsion engines and advanced electrical systems reflect a commitment to reliable, independent operation away from conventional marina infrastructure.
