2004 Malibu Wakesetter VLX

The 2004 Malibu Wakesetter VLX is a 21-foot fiberglass wakeboard boat powered by a 340-horsepower engine. The hull design from this era is known for generating a substantial, clean wakeboarding wake along with a respectable surf wake. With only 604 engine hours, this boat has been lightly used and consistently stored indoors, helping preserve the original condition of the gelcoat and interior.

The interior features newly upholstered seating throughout. The boat is equipped with a Perfect Pass speed control system, a manual wedge for wake shaping, and three factory ballast tanks. A teak swim platform sits at the stern. Audio is handled by a Bluetooth deck powered by an amp and JL Audio subwoofer. The electrical system includes dual batteries with an isolation switch for reliability.

Mechanically, the boat received a fresh oil change and has less than 100 hours on the V-drive and transmission fluid. A new steering cable was installed recently for responsive handling. The gelcoat exterior shows minimal wear with no spider cracking around the tower mounts, and there is no sun fading throughout the hull. A Wakeshaper device is included for additional wake adjustment.

The boat comes with a tandem-axle EZ Loader trailer featuring a foldaway tongue, functional lights, and tires with adequate tread remaining.
