This 2004 McKee Craft 24 Freedom is a fiberglass center console built with pressure foam-filled, unsinkable construction. It runs a single 2023 Suzuki DF300 engine with two years of warranty remaining and has just 18 hours of operation since a complete 2023 refit that included full disassembly, rewiring, and repowering. A 20-hour service was recently completed.
The boat was extensively rebuilt from the ground up. The hull received a fresh coat of blue Awl-Grip epoxy, while all above-deck aluminum was sand-blasted and epoxy-painted. A new 180-gallon aluminum fuel tank and fresh water tank were installed and epoxy-coated. All switches, circuit breakers, and pumps were replaced. The console and all holes in it were glassed-in and epoxy-painted. New Sea Star steering ram, Rule 2000 GPH bilge pumps, Pentair Shurflo live well pumps, and a Minn Kota two-bank battery charger were fitted. Fresh and raw water wash-downs were relocated to the stern gunwales. All bolsters, seat cushions, and the leaning post were reupholstered, and a new T-top canvas was installed.
Electronics include a Garmin 8612xsv GPS chartplotter, Standard Horizon GX2410 VHF radio with AIS, Fusion stereo with Apollo 40-channel amplifier and speakers, and new 4-foot digital VHF and FM antennas on stainless mounts. Lighting upgrades comprise new Lumishore SMX154 7000-lumen underwater transom lights, LED spreader lights, and LED under-gunwale lighting. Stern equipment includes Gem rod holders and a spear gun rack. A Continental trailer with new Kenda Loadstar tires (mounted February 2026) is included.
