2004 Meridian 459 Motoryacht

The 2004 Meridian 459 is a 45-foot fiberglass motoryacht powered by twin Cummins 6BTA diesel engines producing 370 horsepower each. The boat features a well-appointed interior centered on an expansive 14-foot-wide salon with teak and holly flooring, large windows, twin settees, and a 43-inch smart television. Two queen staterooms provide sleeping accommodations, with the aft master opening directly to a private cockpit patio via sliding glass doors. A galley equipped with recent appliances—refrigerator and freezer from 2022, a 2023 radiant stovetop, microwave, and toaster oven—supports extended cruising. The boat includes two heads.

Exterior spaces are generous and entertaining-focused. An aft deck lounge features a wet bar with icemaker and seating, while the flybridge offers wraparound seating and centerline helm. A full-beam swim platform provides water access, complemented by an electric davit system and a 2018 Highfield 3.10 rigid inflatable dinghy with a 2018 20-horsepower Tohatsu outboard. The exterior upholstery was replaced in 2021 and canvas in 2022.

Recent mechanical work includes engine block replacement at 1,300 hours (approximately 1,900 hours logged since), new bow and stern thrusters installed in 2023 and 2024 respectively, and a new Lewmar windlass motor added in 2025. The electrical system comprises four new Group 31 AGM start batteries and three AGM house batteries totaling 315 amp-hours. An 11.5-kilowatt Onan diesel generator provides auxiliary power.

Navigation systems include a Garmin GPSMAP 7610xsv plotter, Garmin radar, sonar, AIS, and Reactor 40 autopilot. The anchoring setup features a Lewmar electric windlass with chain counter, 300 feet of G4 chain, and primary and secondary anchors. Maintenance records are documented from 2021 forward.
