2004 Mikelson 50 Luxury Yacht

The Mikelson 50 is a West Coast sportfish and family cruiser built on a Tom Fexas-designed hull. At just over 50 feet with a 16.67-foot beam, the boat carries a wide profile suited to stable cruising and fishing. Twin Cummins diesel engines producing 960 horsepower drive the yacht to a top speed of 22 knots, with an efficient cruising speed of 16 knots. The fuel capacity of 1,000 gallons supports extended range. The hull is fiberglass.

The layout centers on a generous flybridge with an aft tournament station and accommodates family cruising with a full interior. The flybridge features a custom polycarbonate front window with wiper, Fusion stereo and speakers, and LED lighting. Interior upgrades include new televisions in the salon and master stateroom, LED lighting throughout, custom master stateroom mattress, new faucets at all sinks, and a new washer and dryer.

Recent mechanical work includes complete engine service in November 2025 covering oil and transmission fluid changes, generator service, engine zincs, fuel filters, and impellers. Shaft seals and heat exchangers have been replaced. Bottom paint, zincs, and propeller service were performed. The watermaker was serviced. Electrical systems feature a Victron 3000-watt inverter and four 200-amp-hour Victron batteries. A new fresh water pump, hailer, and VHF radio were installed. Anchor equipment includes ultra stainless steel anchor with chain counter. The davit cable was upgraded and a new dinghy canvas cover was added. The boat has 900 original engine hours.
