This 2004 Nonsuch 33 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built to exacting standards, featuring the design of naval architect Mark Ellis and custom construction methods. The boat is powered by a Yammer diesel engine of 56 horsepower with remarkably low runtime of 301 hours, capable of cruising at approximately 8 knots. A factory-installed bow thruster provides confidence in close-quarters maneuvering. The yacht measures 33 feet in length overall with an 11.83-foot beam and draws 5.25 feet, combining accessible handling with substantial interior volume.

The sail plan has been substantially upgraded beyond standard Nonsuch specifications. The mast is a larger 36-diameter unit, one foot taller than stock, paired with an extended boom. Electric sail handling includes a 1000-watt Lofrans halyard capstan, a Harken two-speed mainsheet winch, and Anderson self-tailing winches. The mainsail is a heavy-duty Quantum sail with integrated Stack Pack and Strong Track system. An internal boom reefing system keeps lines concealed, and a Lofrans 1500-watt windlass with rope and chain gypsies handles ground tackle.

Below deck, the yacht offers two cabins and one head, with accommodations enhanced throughout by extensive teak joinery and satin-varnished finishes. The berth configuration is widened four inches beyond standard. The galley features Corian-style countertops and custom refrigeration with a holding plate system. Teak detailing extends to cabinetry, doors, frames, an armrest table with integrated liquor cabinet, and a cocktail dining table with fold-out leaf. Additional portlights and a cockpit ventilation port improve light and airflow. Electrical systems are substantial: a 540-ampere-hour gel-cell house battery bank, dedicated starting battery, 2000-watt inverter with 100-amp charger, and high-output alternator support extended cruising.

The exterior combines weather protection with cruising capability. A custom fiberglass hard dodger with opening hatches and a hard bimini with interior hatch provide shelter. The full cockpit enclosure includes integrated screens. Four stainless dorades with guards manage ventilation. A heavy-duty pushpit of 1.25-inch stainless tubing and taller stanchions prioritize safety. A ComNav 1100 hydraulic autopilot, Sigmar diesel heating with dual outlets, and a VacuFlush freshwater toilet support comfortable extended time aboard. The hull received three coats of epoxy protection during construction. A one-year-old two-piece winter cover is included with the boat.
