This 2004 ProKat 2660 is a 26.5-foot center console built to handle serious offshore and bay fishing. The fiberglass hull is supported by twin Yamaha 250 engines installed in 2021, each with low running hours and factory warranty coverage. The boat cruises at 35 knots and reaches 45–50 knots at full throttle, with fly-by-wire control and push-button start electronics for ease of operation from either the lower or upper station.
The layout centers on a full-beam fishing platform with an oversized hardtop that houses upper-station controls and electronics. A 21-foot carbon fiber outrigger pair with Taco Marine bases and triple clip system support serious game fishing. Two deep kill boxes, one with macerator, live bait aerator, salt and fresh water wash-down systems, and four accessible bilge pumps round out the fishing gear. The cabin area includes a full 7-piece curtain enclosure with Strataglass windows on three sides.
Electronics are comprehensive: Garmin 12-inch in-dash 12xsv, dual 9-inch Echomap units (lower and upper stations), radar, depth sounder, and GT56UHD-TM transducer for speed and temperature data. Three VHF radios with upper and lower station boxes ensure full communication. Additional amenities include a 42-inch light bar forward, dual 8-inch LED spreader bars aft, stereo with amp and three speakers, and four batteries with shore power charger.
Recent work includes gel coat wet-sanding inside and out, buffed tower welding, and Sea Deck installation all completed in 2024. The boat rides on a 2022 dual-axle heavy-duty Vortex trailer with Vortex bearings rated to 100,000 miles between services, plus two spare tires.
