This 2004 Regulator 26 is a deep-vee center console built for offshore fishing. The hull features a sharp 48-degree entry, 24 degrees of deadrise, and Regulator's proprietary one-piece transom grillage system for added stiffness. The high, flared bow sheds water effectively, and the broad transom provides ample space for bait wells. Twin Suzuki 200 hp engines deliver power, with a maximum speed of 45 knots and cruising speed of 40 knots.
The center console sits slightly abaft amidships with 6 feet of headroom in its compartment. A large fiberglass dash is protected by an aluminum-frame windscreen with side hand-holds. A custom T-top frames the helm with dual steering stations, overhead electronics box, and outrigger bases. Seating options include a cushioned double seat or leaning post with rocket launchers.
Fishing-focused equipment and storage are extensive. A 700-quart wet/dry box is set forward, flanked by two 136-quart fish boxes. The cockpit sole houses a 32-gallon live well, and the transom includes a 16-gallon live well plus two 17-gallon bait boxes. In-deck locking rod storage and raw-water washdown complete the fishing setup.
Recent maintenance and updates include new engines, fly-by-wire steering, all new wiring and cables, fresh electronics and gauges, new cushions and bolsters in 2022, new amp and speakers, and new bilge and live well pumps. The electronics remain under warranty.
