2004 Riviera 42 Convertible

The 2004 Riviera 42 Convertible is a 47-foot fiberglass flybridge yacht built around family cruising and fishing. Powered by a single Cummins 8.3 diesel engine rated at 480 horsepower, the boat combines seagoing capability with accessible handling. Its design emphasizes practicality: a spacious cockpit suited to fishing or diving work, a generous flybridge for cruising comfort, and clean sportfish lines typical of the mid-size convertible class.

The interior provides two cabins and two heads, laid out for cruising families or small groups. The flybridge serves as the primary entertainment and helm area, while the cockpit offers working space and direct access to the water.

Recent service work completed in January 2025 included bottom sanding and repaint, replacement of cutlass bearings and shaft repacking, new raw water valves and stems across engine, generator, and air conditioning systems, new engine cooling hoses, pressure testing and service of aftercoolers and heat exchangers, new bilge pumps, and replacement of the generator's compressor, evaporator, board, starter, and heat exchanger. The boat is equipped with trim tabs and bottom zincs.
