2004 Sabre 42 Fly Bridge

This 2004 Sabre 42 Flybridge is a fiberglass downeast cruiser powered by twin Yanmar 6CX diesel engines producing 475 horsepower each. The boat achieves a 20–26 knot cruising speed with a verified 30 knots at wide-open throttle. An Onan 11.5 kW generator supports three reverse-cycle air conditioning units, electric heating, and all onboard systems. The boat is equipped with a bow thruster, electric windlass with foot controls and dual helm remotes, and includes both CQR and Danforth anchors plus a spare set of propellers.

The flybridge hosts a Furuno TZT3 multifunction display installed in 2024, while the pilothouse features a Furuno TZT2, autopilot, and radar. Navigation is supported by an LED searchlight and new LED navigation lights. The interior includes three reverse-cycle air conditioning units, an electric head with walk-in shower and bench, dual under-counter drawer refrigerators, convection microwave, gas stove, and a cockpit grill. A new stereo and television were installed in 2024. Multiple canvas covers are included.

Recent maintenance and upgrades include new bottom paint and hull paint in November 2024, teak refinishing with maintenance coats in 2025, and new davits installed in 2025. Winter 2022 work encompassed new engine mounts, shaft seals, and sanitary hoses. All batteries are new as of 2025. The Reverso oil change system and Fireboy suppression system were serviced in April 2025. Detailed service records are available from September 2022 forward.

The hull shows minor gelcoat crazing on the bow hatches, flybridge ladder top, and transom door—typical for a vessel of this age. The fiberglass swim platform has elevated moisture but remains functional and usable. The boat comes with extensive spare parts and complete manuals.
