The 2004 Scout 240 Bay Scout is a 24-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull with a shallow 11-inch draft and deep-V entry, making it capable of accessing shallow-water fishing grounds. Powered by a single 200-horsepower Yamaha engine, the boat reaches speeds up to 36 knots and carries an 85-gallon fuel tank for extended range.
The deck is generous with non-skid surfacing and includes port and starboard locking rod storage plus a large beam-width storage box. Underneath the deck lies substantial stowage space. An optional tunnel hull configuration is available, allowing the boat to run at speed in extremely shallow water.
