2004 Sea Ray 40 Sundancer

This 2004 Sea Ray 40 Sundancer is a fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin MerCruiser engines totaling 740 horsepower. The boat measures 41 feet in length with a 13-foot beam and is equipped with a bow thruster. Freshwater-kept throughout its two-owner history, it has been maintained with regular winter storage in heated conditions.

The boat features a single head and accommodates one cabin. The helm is finished with wood trim and includes a custom instrument panel. A fiberglass hardtop is optional, and the deck design emphasizes clean, contemporary lines that give the boat strong visual presence.

Recent improvements document careful ownership. In winter 2020, a 19-inch Garmin chartplotter was installed with full system gauges and diagnostics capability. Summer 2022 saw multiple upgrades: a custom high-density sunpad, replacement of the windlass and windlass motor, new all-chain rode totaling 180 feet, and new JBL tower speakers for the bow with accompanying amplifier and rewiring. Spring 2023 brought complete canvas replacement and conversion of the isinglass to new Stratoglass.
