This 2004 Sea Ray 550 Sundancer is a 55-foot fiberglass motor yacht built on the proven Sundancer mid-cabin platform. She is powered by three T-MAN diesel engines producing 1,530 total horsepower. The yacht features a spacious aft deck with generous seating, a hardtop that provides excellent headroom, and a reverse-cycle air-conditioning system throughout the cockpit and helm areas. A hydraulic transom platform serves as both a tender lift and swim platform, with new hydraulic pistons, stainless steel braided hoses, and bushings installed in 2025.
The accommodation layout includes two staterooms and two heads. The master stateroom aft features a queen island bed, cherry wood cabinetry, wall-to-wall carpeting, and an en-suite head with a glass-enclosed shower and vacuum flush system. The VIP stateroom forward also offers a queen bed, private head, and shower. The main salon includes a large curved settee, galley with microwave and electric stove, refrigerator and freezer, dining area, and a convertible port-side berth.
Recent upgrades include new Garmin GPS/plotter screens with integrated sonar and radar, a new VHF radio, two new Fusion audio systems with JL Audio speakers, updated helm and master stateroom air conditioning, new dripless shaft bearings and seals, and a new polycarbonate helm enclosure, all completed in 2025. The bottom was repainted and Cutlass bearings refitted in 2025. An 18-kilowatt Onan generator provides auxiliary power. Additional amenities include a U-Line ice maker, on-deck Isotherm refrigerator, Stidd helm chair with Ray Marine autopilot, remote windlass controls, and both running and spare props that have been tuned and balanced.
