2004 Silverton 48 Convertible

This 2004 Silverton 48 Convertible is a fiberglass sportfish cruiser built on a proven design by Donald Blount & Associates. The wide 16-foot 4-inch beam provides stability and interior volume, while the sharp entry and hull form handle open water reliably. Twin Volvo diesel engines deliver 1,430 horsepower total. The boat has spent its life in freshwater and heated winter storage, with comprehensive service records maintained throughout.

The layout comprises three staterooms and two heads. The master suite is amidships with a custom Metz mattress, while a single convertible VIP cabin provides additional sleeping capacity. The main salon features cherry cabinetry, elegant finishes, and an entertainment-sized galley with top-line appliances. A central vacuum system, washer-dryer, and five-zone reverse-cycle air conditioning are installed throughout.

Recent updates include a complete Garmin electronics suite with GPS, radar, AIS, and autopilot; a bridge-level stereo system with Samsung Smart TV; renewed cushions on the bridge and cockpit; and custom inlaid tables in the salon. A new isinglass enclosure frames the exterior, and Seadeck has been added to the stern. Fresh canvas and wax are applied seasonally. The freshwater plumbing, battery system, and air-conditioning units have been updated.

Engine and generator services are documented through the 1,000-hour mark, with an oil change completed in spring. Standard equipment includes bow and stern thrusters, Bennett trim tabs, Glendinning cablemaster, and Iso/Boost systems. Fuel capacity is 800 gallons, water 200 gallons, and the holding tank holds 80 gallons.
