The X-46 is a 46-foot cruiser-racer built by X-Yachts with a deep keel, carbon mast, and custom carbon rudder designed for both performance sailing and comfortable cruising. A Volvo Penta 55 hp diesel engine provides auxiliary power. The fiberglass hull has been recently refinished with factory original blue wrap, new decals, and polished coachroof and cockpit. The wide teak deck was recently replaced and the large carbon wheel, painted white, offers clear visibility and responsive helming.
Below deck, the saloon is spacious and light with newly upholstered furnishings, a separate navigation station, and good headroom throughout. The galley on the port side features a renewed gas stove, refrigerator, and faucet. Three cabins include an owner's cabin at the bow with an en-suite head fitted with a recently upgraded electric toilet, and two identical aft cabins, each with a sea berth. A second head serves the aft cabins. Generous locker and storage space accommodates crew gear and spare sails.
The cockpit is laid out for active sailing with larger-than-standard winches and efficient sheet placement suited to both large and small crews. Navigation and engine control are modern: two 10-inch Sailmon color displays, chart plotter, VHF, AIS, professional transducers, and integrated network connectivity. A Fusion stereo with B&W speakers provides audio. The entire electrical system was rebuilt around Mastervolt components, a 170 A Balmar alternator, and LiFepo4 batteries.
