The 2005 Bavaria Cruiser 37 is a proven cruising design built on a fiberglass hull. Powered by a Volvo Penta diesel engine producing 29 horsepower, it cruises comfortably at 7 knots and carries a suite of well-maintained sails including a furling mainsail and furling genoa, both in good condition, plus four winches.
The layout comprises two cabins and one head with electric operation. The owner's cabin is forward and spacious, while a guest cabin sits aft. The saloon centers on a dining table with fold-up leaves and built-in bottle storage, surrounded by seating. Large overhead windows bring in natural light across light wood finishes and white fiberglass. A sit-down navigation station to starboard features an openable panel for instrument access. The galley opposite is L-shaped with full storage, a combined fridge and freezer, and a two-burner stove with oven.
Recent work includes a new three-blade fixed propeller installed in 2024, a new Bimini and spray hood added in 2023, and solar upgrades completed that same year with a new Victron controller. A Raymarine plotter was added in 2022, paired with new 150-watt solar panels. Lithium service and standard engine batteries were also refreshed in 2023. The boat is registered under German flag.
