2005 Bavaria Cruiser 42

The Bavaria Cruiser 42 is a 42-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built in 2005, powered by a single 50 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine. Her well-proportioned hull carries beam aft to create a spacious cockpit and generous interior volume, while the straightforward sloop rig keeps sail handling manageable and practical for cruising. The design balances comfort and capability without the complexity of a larger yacht.

Below deck, three cabins and two heads provide accommodation suited to extended cruising. The layout makes efficient use of the interior space, giving the room and comfort typical of the 42-foot class. A fresh water deck wash system is fitted for practical use underway.

The cockpit has been recently upgraded with 2024 additions: a bimini with dodger extension, side screens, a boot cover, and full cockpit cover. New cockpit cushions complete the setup. The engine runs low hours. A Southern Pacific 2.4-meter RIB tender with 3.3 hp Mercury outboard is included.
